--ah! I still know how to turn it on!

[ Pop goes the feed, and the face of a young girl with short black hair and blue eyes appears on the screen. There's a Skarmory also peering down at the screen with wonder and squawks at what Xion's doing with the PokeGear. ]

I, uh... [ Oh, now that she's gotten it back on, she... really didn't think about what she should say. Instead, she gives a brief wave with a shy smile before that hand goes to rub at her neck in slight embarrassment. She recovers quickly, though, after her new steely companion bumps her beak against Xion's cheek. ]

It's been a long time, it seems. At least I think it should be for here. It didn't even feel like I was gone, and yet... I remember this time.

It's good to be back.

...Xion?

[A young man stare at the screen, before he realised it's recording and immediately grin. He might be a little older than before, and sound a little older as well, but he's undeniably Atsuro Kihara.

If he isn't, the hat might be a big giveaway.]

Xion, welcome back!

[He's honestly happy to see an old friend again. Not only that, but she remembers as well.]

Hehe, it's nice to see you again, Atsuro! [ He gets a grin; his upbeat personality is still in place, she sees! ]

It's good to know you're still around. And you look a little bigger, too.

Yep, I'm still around. Seems like this place like me too much.

[If he's not upbeat as normal, people would start to worry about him. Beside, Xion's return means his happy smile is more genuine.]

And yep. That's because I'm a little older now!

[ She laughs a bit at the first part of his words. She's glad for that, nonetheless. ]

Oh? How older?

[His smile widen a bit at her laugh. Seeing a friend in a good mood? Always a good thing by his count.]

By a year! Which makes me twenty years old right now.

[ Pause. She remembers hearing about some age types and which are considered young or old. ]

Hmm. Wow, that really is old. [ Grinning a bit. Callin' you an old man, Atsuro. ]

Old--Hey, I'm not old! I'm still pretty young right now!

[But he's grinning, as he's not that offended by it. Gonna rooooll with things.]

Twenty's still a pretty large number! So congratulations on being older!

[ At this point, she can't hold her laughter. In a way, she kind of needs this, in light of certain news. ]

Okay, I'd agree that it's a kinda big!

[He's only alive for what, one-fifth of a century?

His grin widens at her laughter.]

But thanks anyway, Xion! And I'm glad to see you doing well.

Thank you, Atsuro. And you too! Aside from being older, how are you?

Pretty good! I'm pretty much checking out Kanto and tackling each gym as I go! Since I'm in Pewter right now, I'll take on Brock next.

Oh, I remember him. Are you going against his elite team?

Yep. I already got all of Johto's badges, so taking on the gym leader's elite teams is the next natural step.

How's that been going for you? I remembered watching Riku take them on, and they can be pretty tough.

Pretty great! They are tough, but I managed to pull through. Janine did surprise me when I challenged her, but it's been fun.

So that leaves... how many more badges for you to get?

Just four badges from Kanto left. If I keep up my pace, I might get all of them before the end of the year.

What will you do after you get them all?

[He's quiet for a moment.]

I guess see what else I haven't travel to. If the Elite Four still aren't taking challenges by then, I'd probably settle down and focus on my programming.

Something with computers, right?

That's right! I want to improve and make great programs to run on computers. Maybe even the PokeGear once I get the hang of them.

That would be nice. People only use the Gear for necessities and such.

Yeah. I do as well, but I would love to have some more applications to use on the Gear, even if it's just for fun.

If you make them, be sure to let others know, okay? I'm sure other people would like something else to do with the Gear.

[ She pauses, looks off to the side, then turns back to Atsuro. ]
