I, uh... [ Oh, now that she's gotten it back on, she... really didn't think about what she should say. Instead, she gives a brief wave with a shy smile before that hand goes to rub at her neck in slight embarrassment. She recovers quickly, though, after her new steely companion bumps her beak against Xion's cheek. ]

It's been a long time, it seems. At least I think it should be for here. It didn't even feel like I was gone, and yet... I remember this time.

[ The Gear had been dropped in favor of Xion covering her ears from the sudden noise. Meanwhile, Illyasviel is currently saying "hello" to a shrilly, shrieking Skarmory in return for the scare. Her Skarmory is making threatening movements at the Gear, but once Xion notices the noise has stopped, she slowly picks up her Gear and looks back at Illyasviel.

Blue and black meet red and white, and she only has to blink in confusion. ]

Uhm... What was all that about?

[Ilya winces a bit as the metal bird screams at her, but she's kind of gotten used to things like this, so it doesn't affect her as much as it might have. She grimaces at Xion's question, and gives a little sigh.]

It's a little prank Orpheus likes to play sometimes. He must have seen the new people coming in and decided to surprise you with it. Don't worry, I'll discipline him for it later.

[There's a little spooky whine (inasmuch as a whine can be spooky), but a sharp glare from her silences the now-offscreen Dusclops.]

Well, since he got us talking to each other, we might as well at least introduce ourselves. I'm Ilyasviel von Einzbern. But you can call me Ilya. What's your name?

[ Huh. At least the other girl is taking responsibility. Though, now that Xion's getting a closer look at the girl, she peers curiously at her. ]

Ilyasviel von Einzbern. [ Some people's names are just... interesting. Yet somehow, this girl seems familiar even if she's sure she hasn't met them until now. Realizing her staring is rude, she quickly gives up her name. ]

[She starts to smile, but the expression stops halfway as she realizes that Xion is... kind of staring at her. In fact, she's very much staring at her. That's just a little bit odd.]

[ Now she's starting to feel bad. Judging from Illya's reaction, they must have been close. She might be one of the ones who left while she was away. ]

[That would make sense, then. If someone was close to Saber, her mother would probably come up at least a few times. Ilya's not quite certain what to think about that, but she's definitely interested in Xion now.]

[ That makes Xion think on what she remembers from their brief meetings. ]

She was very kind and energetic, and that she was important to Saber in some way. She also liked to dress Saber in all sorts of clothing.
