You are unfamiliar with the parable, or parables in general? They are stories designed to instruct. Each has a purpose, a moral to it. Each tale, and there are hundreds, have their own bit of advice. 'It is wise to prepare today for the wants of tomorrow', or 'Once bitten, twice shy' and so on.

[Xemnas pauses, and smiles faintly.]

Do you understand the story of the scorpion and the frog? Demyx assumed it was about trust. Do you believe so?
