I hope this is clear enough: to people who know about him, don't harass Xemnas. We know what he's done, and while we know what he's like, it's a bit different here. Threatening him isn't going to help matters. We can keep watch until he actually does something, but don't aggravate him too much.

If anything, I'll try to handle him.

And to the person who sent him that threatening message: stop it. You're not helping.

[Huh. So, Xion knows this Xemnas. Based on her earlier conversation that's not a good thing...she needs more intel but that filter...nope. Not using that one.]

You should know that a person calling themselves Demyx put out a call to any peacekeeping groups about Xemnas. Said he was trying to get the word out and warn people before something could happen, but I'm not sure if he was telling the truth or not.

[Was he, Xion? It's what she's asking without really asking.]

I think we should talk.

[Short, simple, to the point. Mostly because Ilya's feeling pretty peeved right now about Xion running out on her with only a goodbye note and possibly getting herself in trouble into the bargain.]

First off. Are you okay?

[Threatening message? Well, if that isn't 100% obviously his fault then Demyx doesn't know what would be. It definitely doesn't help that he feels a little...guilty when she puts it like that? He wasn't trying to be threatening. Threatening Xemnas was nothing short of a death warrant, even if people didn't die in this world for whatever reason.

Which brings him back to switching himself back to anon to try and feel the situation out as best he could.]

Those are some pretty strong words, you realize. 'Threatening' and 'harass' aren't exactly what I would use to describe it. If that's the impression he got then I might be in a bit of trouble here. Which really wasn't my intention at all. But I take it you've managed to run into him recently? If he took any of it out on you, let me apologize on my own behalf. Also, 'we?' This might be probing a bit here, but what do you mean by that?

To clear the matter up before it becomes an issue; my intention was just to gauge him as a threat to...well, us first and foremost. Then the rest of the population. As cunning and manipulative as he is it's almost a certainty that he could do some considerable damage to this world if he really felt it would suit his objectives. How can I put this? I suppose the easiest way would be to just say that if he becomes a real threat, you might want to take a number in dealing with him. This place is my home as much as anyone else's now.

[ This message comes a few minutes after Lightning sends her. She's just noticing about Demyx's message. She's just... what? What's he playing at? Demyx being serious? She really couldn't see him... that way. ]

I just checked. He's telling the truth. But I can't believe he actually... did something like that.

I apologize if I was rude, that wasn't my intention. However I seem to have encountered this Xemnas person. If he's a threat, then I should be aware of it shouldn't I? It's not nice to leave someone in the dark.

He's worried. Probably scared out of his wits from the sounds of things. People do crazy things when they're scared.

[She would know. After a beat, however, a second text follows the first.]

Xion. What kind of threat is Xemnas? What kind of damage is he capable of?

[ O o p s. Yeah, and she was just getting closer to Illya's location on Bell while answering this. ]

Good. Now, explain yourself. You vanish with a hastily written note not even telling me what you went back for, not even waking me up to say goodbye, and then the next thing I hear from you is a warning about some "Xemnas" person? Xion, if you're involved in something dangerous I want to know about it.

And if you aren't, I still want to know why this was all so important.

Demyx, I know it's you.

[ Just to clear it out there. Lightning had just informed her about his message, which she was away from actually noticing due to talking with the man in question face-to-face. ]

He didn't take anything out; he just wanted to know if it was me. He wouldn't tell me what it said, but I know he still wasn't happy about it.

[ He just isn't the type to let that sort of thing slide. ]

He's not threatening me. It's other people I'm worried about.

I doubt he's much of a "threat" now. The point was to tell others to back off so he wouldn't be. If he's cordial to you, he'll probably stay that way.

[Oh, balls. If she was able to just throw it together like that from what Xemnas must have said then it's a lot worse than he anticipated. Doubly so considering the tone that ended his attempt to gauge Xemnas.

As if he didn't have enough to be nervous about. But, hey, maybe if he's careful he could play this off and sweep it under the rug as per his usual. It's about as worth as shot at this point as anything else.]

Now that's a little surprising. Both parts. If he didn't tell you what it said, how exactly do you figure you know who I am? To be this direct about it means you must have some serious reasons. It's certainly good to know you weren't hurt, though. My lack of caution aside, getting innocent people caught up in what was otherwise simple is definitely not on my agenda.

You didn't answer my question, by the way. Not to be rude, but it's somewhat important that I be able to draw some lines for perspective.

That's not the point of this, Lightning. He's not a threat right now if people would stop bothering him about it.

[ Granted, she probably didn't word this to try and avoid this implication, but at this point, her mind is just running a bit too wildly to think coherently. ]

That's not what I'm saying. I know he's not an active threat, and he probably won't be, but if even one person is that worried? You know someone has to look into it.

Even potential threats have to be checked out. The more we learn now, the better prepared we'll be even if he never does anything. It's just standard procedure.

[Military procedure. It isn't anything personal and Lightning does know not to poke a sleeping behemoth, but still.]

I was just told about your earlier warning! Lightning said you were trying to put the word out about him. You gave out information to her, right?

[ And it was also kind of easy to slip past Lightning's filter on his actual post. Guess that little stint of going through the Organization's databases has helped. ]

And again, I'm sorry about that. I forgot to buy some supplies before we left, and on my way, I saw him. I just... wanted to clear things up.

That's not-- It's more people keep threatening him. Anyone would get aggravated by that.
