--ah! I still know how to turn it on!

[ Pop goes the feed, and the face of a young girl with short black hair and blue eyes appears on the screen. There's a Skarmory also peering down at the screen with wonder and squawks at what Xion's doing with the PokeGear. ]

I, uh... [ Oh, now that she's gotten it back on, she... really didn't think about what she should say. Instead, she gives a brief wave with a shy smile before that hand goes to rub at her neck in slight embarrassment. She recovers quickly, though, after her new steely companion bumps her beak against Xion's cheek. ]

It's been a long time, it seems. At least I think it should be for here. It didn't even feel like I was gone, and yet... I remember this time.

It's good to be back.

[So this girl was here before? She came back, and she remembers. Just like her. She had never met this girl before, at least as far as she can remember. Still, it would be good to offer some advice and make sure she's okay. Maybe she could even figure out how memories in this place works.]

Just try not t'think too much 'bout your time here before. I reckon my head was poundin' for the first week I was back.

[ She smiles at the bit of concern she's getting from this girl. She unconsciously rubs her head, but nods. ]

It's difficult not to, but thank you for the concern. I'm actually used to-- er, well, this wouldn't be the first time getting a rush of memories.

Somepony knock you on the head at some point, or somethin'?

[ She was quickly about to protest until she remembers that Axel did at one point. And Riku. Er. She bows her head shyly. ]

[She chuckles. If she knows how to work with anything, it's shyness.]

S'long as everythin' still in the right place, I reckon there's no harm.

[ She perks her head back up a bit with a small smile. ]

You're right. As long as I take my time on this, I doubt I'll get many headaches. [ Pause. ] Did that happen with you?

The memory part, or the gettin' knocked on the head part?

[ Blinks. ] Um... both?

Well... I've come back here a couple times. I only remember the last time, though. Ain't really sure why. But I remember most of everythin', now.

As for gettin' my head rattled... I've had my share.

[Especially since starting to train pokemon. Who knew these psychic, fire-breathing monsters could hurt people?]

[ She catches the murmured part, and nods once as Applejack finishes. ]

Looks like we share some things in common. I remember the last time I was here, too, but there was another time before that that I can't remember.

Like two peas in a pod. Funny how things work in this world, ain't it?

You still in New Bark? Gonna be alright on your own?

I think so. I've been here before, and once I get to Cherrygrove, it looks like I could get some of my former team back. Most of them were max level before I left, so I think I could start hitting the Gyms soon after.

Glad t'hear it, Sugarcube. D'you have any friends you remember comin' t'get you?

[ "Sugarcube"? Xion tilts her head at that, but it does remind her of Fang's old way of saying Sunshine. And at the mention of friends, her face slightly drops. ]

I... don't think so. They're all busy with their own things and I don't want to trouble them.

"Busy"? For their friend? That doesn't sound right t'me.

It really isn't all on them. [ Xion's even shaking her head. ]

It's been months since I last left. I'm sure a lot of them are in places where they can't get to me easily or quickly.

Then I'll take you to 'em.

My Skarmory can get me anywhere in Johto as quick as can be, an' my Drifblim can carry us both no problem.

Oh, well, that's... That's good.

[ Xion's not used to this outward kindness, can you tell? Especially after she's gotten back. ]
